How to install Generatepress premium?
Step 1: GP Premium Download
Go to your account to see your download links.
Save the file to your computer by clicking or right-clicking the download button (control + click for Mac users). Save the file as gp-premium.zip.
If you’re using Firefox or Chrome, the option to select is “Save link as…”.
In Safari, the option is “Save linked file as…”.
It’s “Save target as…” in Internet Explorer.
Note for Safari users on Mac: If your download displays as a regular folder rather than a zip file, navigate to “Safari Preferences > General” and uncheck “Open’safe’ files after downloading.” The downloaded file will thereafter remain a zip file and will not be unpacked.
Step 2: GP Premium should be installed on your website.
Navigate to Plugins > Add New from your Dashboard.
At the top, click Upload Plugin, navigate to and pick the gp-premium.zip file.
Step 3: Navigate to the “Installed plugins” menu, and locate and activate the “GP Premium” plugin.
This step is quite simple, so I won’t go into detail.

Generatepress free vs premium:
GeneratePress’s free edition has a plethora of useful features and functionality. The GeneratePress Pro or GP Premium editions provide more functionality. Both editions provide an abundance of customizability. The main issue is determining if the free version is sufficient for your purposes or whether you want additional capabilities available in the pro version.
The free edition of the GeneratePress theme is a poor substitute for the premium version. However, it retains some distinctive characteristics that other themes lack.
The theme is quite simple to use. There are no hidden settings, and you do not need to work with it for an extended period of time to become accustomed. Everything is in its proper place. That I enjoy. This is not a theme that makes grandiose claims and then leaves you with only a few settings that limit your ability to personalize the site to your specific needs.
GeneratePress will never presume to know what you want to use it for. As a result, you can construct anything. Above all, it is a framework. Once you’ve started using it, I’m not sure you’ll ever switch to another theme.
Features of the Free Version
Listed below are a some of the GeneratePress theme’s features:
Full Width or Contained: You can choose whether GeneratePress should be contained within the browser window or span the whole browser window.
Top Bar Widget Area: This area enables you to display critical information at the top of the page. This part allows you to include your business’s phone number, email address, and any other pertinent information.
If you wish to utilize text for the site title, you may include a text tagline. The image logos and site text can be oriented to the left, right, or center.
Options for the navigation bar: The navigation bar can be positioned inside, above, or below the site’s header. The navigation bar’s drop down links can be configured to appear only when the top link is clicked. This can make it simpler to utilize the navigation bar when the site is viewed via tablets, smartphones, or other mobile devices.
Additionally, the primary menu has an optional built-in search capability.
The search box is accessed by accessing the navigation bar and clicking the search symbol.
Featured Images: This option displays the featured picture that you’ve already allocated to the post’s top.
Footer Widgets: GeneratePress comes with five distinct footer widgets.
Footer Bar: This area is dedicated to your footer bar widgets. It’s an excellent location for calls to action or other items you want to draw attention to.
Back to Top: You have the option of activating the “back to top” button.
